How to use these words
- •After the verb sein, adjectives don't change: “Das Haus ist groß.”
- •Before a noun they take an ending: “ein großes Haus”, “die große Stadt.”
- •Comparatives usually add -er: groß → größer, schnell → schneller; gut is irregular (gut → besser).
